Hello it's Jade and today's blog post is all about my favourites from the year 2015. Wow! I can't believe we are in 2016. I feel like 2015 went so fast and this year I will be facing the dreaded GCSEs. Very nervous but hopefully it all goes well. 2016 will be a big year for me however this blog post were looking back on the amazing products I loved in 2015 and that I will be taking them into 2016.
The first product I loved was a lipstick and it's by M.A.C and it's called Velvet Teddy. I purchased this lipstick last year and ever since I got it I've loved it so much and it's become my holy grail. Whenever I'm stuck for a lip colour I always reach for this. Its a lovely matte effect and a brown nude it's amazing. It tends to go everywhere with me and I always show people it, so I guess you could say this was my most favourite product of 2015 and I will most definitely be going into 2016 loving it and wearing it.
The next product is just candles in general. I've always loved candles but never looked into them and tried and tested loads. This year (2015) I've definitely become a candle junkie. For Christmas I got 32 .... That's so bad but I'm very greatful as it will save me some money for a while. My favourite candle brand so fas has to be Yankee candle however I definitely want to try some more luxurious candles this year like Joe Malone.
The next product is quite random but it's a memory stick. This little device has saved my life a few
times. As 2015 was the year full of coursework for me. I always did it on the school computer but I can't say I trust the school system very much. There has been a few times where I could of lost my coursework for various subjects. So I was glad I always saved a second copy on my USB stick.
The next favourite usually ends up being in my favourites especially for the past 5 years. It's One Direction, every year I go see them on tour and as you will know this was their last tour before their break so I was glad to be able to say I saw them live on the on the road again tour. They especially make my 10 favourites because of the amount that has happened to them in 2015, I mean Zayn leaving the band, Louis becoming a dad ( well so the media says), the 1D break and majority of the boys getting with someone. So I feel like the directioner fandom has come closer than ever in 2015.
The next favourite is Instagram. Before 2015 I was never that bothered about the app. I mean I had an account but I rarely used it. However in the year 2015 I feel like I became more interested in photography and I would follow photography accounts and get lots of inspiration. So I felt the need to up my Instagram account and I won't lie I'm very happy with how it looks at the moment and I hope to progress with how it looks in the future. I'm literally addicted to the app.
The next favourite is a make up product and it's my M.A.C powder and when I bought this I loved it and then at the start of 2015 I kinda lost the hype of it and it stayed at the bottom of my makeup bag. Until I re discovered it and, I love it so much. It leaves a nice Matte finish and takes away shininess. I definitely recommend it, however if you put a bit too much on it can feel heavy. So make sure to be light on it.
The next favourite is a scent. Throughout 2015 I definitely tried a few scents and I liked them but one stood out the most for me and it was the Zoella Lets Spritz in the tutti fruti collection. It's so subtle and has a hint of fruitiness and I really like that. However I tend to use it a lot and my bottle is now half full and I'm sparingly using it so it will last. So I definitely reccomend this spritz to anyone who likes subtle scents.
The next favourite product is a skincare item. It's by the brand called Estée Lauder. It's the clear difference advanced blemish serum. This is the third item in my skincare routine. It goes on after my cleansing toner. This is to minimise pours and reduce blemishes. I definitely agree you can tell when I go a week without it. I must admit I am a lazy person when it comes to skincare, that is one of my New Years resolutions. This product is on the pricey side but it's definitely worth it I mean you only get one skin, you need to be kind to it.
The next favourite is a tv series. I must say this was very hard to choose from. I love a good tv series to get into they range from broad church, humans, American horror story, inbetweeners, Gavin and Stacey, Geordie shore, keeping up with the Kardashians, prison break and many more however I really enjoyed a series and it was called Scream Queens. I loved it, it was a spinoff on typical horror tv series. I loved that Ariana grande was in it but the story line left me like.... What. I'm definitely excited for series 2.
My last favourite is a new hobby of mine. It's dog showing. This year I feel like I participated I a lot more showing competitions and was very luckiy in getting some good places with my show dog teddy. I really enjoyed it and I definitely intend on carrying it on in the summer 2016.
Thank you for reading my favourites and we maybe have a favourite or 2 in common. So I hope 2015 was a good year for you, I can't say it was my best year however I feel like I should focus more on the positives that happened last year. Hopefully 2016 will be jam packed just like last year was.
