As you will know it's getting to the festive season, it's that time of year when your next door neighbour goes crazy on multicoloured fairy lights that wrap around their house. That every year manage to creep into your bedroom window at 2 am. It's also that time where you have to learn how to keep yourself from not eating all the advent calendar chocolates on the 1st of December. But mainly it's the time of year to be happy and enjoy the festivity. This blog post will hopefully help you prepare for the festive season in advance so you can spend as much time as you can having fun with family and friends and not having to worry about a thing.
1- The first thing to do to create a stress free Christmas is write out a list. Lists are the best things invented. They help people keep organised and help you know on who you need to get presents for. This is Jade's list this year. Once you have bought that person a gift all you need to do is tick their name off. Also another tip is to create a list of what you have bought certain people because then when you watch people opening their presents you can make sure you haven't forgotten any.
2- Pre-wrapping presents. This is a key feature for a stress free zone. It's always horrible when you leave it to Christmas Eve to wrap up everyone's gifts and everyone else are having fun but your stuck in the back room wrapping presents. Also it looks great to have them all wrapped and then to take photos to tease your family members or to make your Instagram feed look oh so Christmassy.
3- Preparing Christmas dinner. This is a must do. You need to make sure you have the right recipe that you want to follow and you feel 100% confident with. As the worst thing is getting ready to cook on Christmas Day with the family in the living room all hungry and you don't know how to cook a turkey. So why not buy a range of cooking magazines or cook books and try various recipes out so you can find on that works best for you. Also preparing as much as you can the night before is a great idea because then you get more time with the family. So like peeling your vegetables in advance would save you a good half an hour.
4- Decorating the house, is the most fun preparation of the Christmas spirit. It's great to put on the Christmas music and dance whilst putting up the cute decorations. It's best to go with a colour scheme as it looks cuter. Decorations entitle the Christmas tree, tinsil, hanging Christmas lights and much more.
We hope you have enjoyed this blog post. Hopefully it's given you a few tips on creating a stress free Christmas but also some ideas that you might have forgotten to jog your memory. Hope you have a great festive week and make sure you return back to our blog because leading up to Christmas our blog will be very festive! Hope your having a great day.
