Hello it's Jade doing today's blog post. Quite recently I've been obsessed with BarryM nail polish. I've had a few before but I always tend to use other brands but the other week I rediscovered my love for them... So I went over board and I purchased loads. However for this blog post I have refined them to 6.
1: Papaya
This colour is perfect for the summer. Throughout the summer season I constantly reach for this colour. It's a vibrant yet subtle pink shade. It's easy to apply and only needs 2 coats. However I must say I wore this on my holiday this year on my toe nails and the sun bleached it another colour. So be careful on that one.
2: Espeesso (Matte)
This colour isn't very colourful obviously but I love it. I absolutely love the matte effect. However with this type of varnish it does chip easily as I found. So to tackle this problem I definitely recommend a matte top coat just to give an extra layer of protection. This is such a lovely alternative from normal and I love black on my nails, I feel like it adds an edgier feel.
3: Sparkling Ruby
This is my ultimate Christmas colour. All over the Christmas period I wore it on my nails
and I couldn't get enough of it. This is such a gorgeous ruby red with an added sparkle. Also the glitter isn't too over powering and I really think that. With some nail polishes it can be a bit too much sparkle but with this one it isn't.
4:Cotton
This nail polish I like it more to do patterns or nail designs. A black background with a white flower is my favourite. I have worn this colour on its own before and I liked it, I have to say I felt it was boring. However if you like the colour white, why not wear it on its own. Who's stopping you?! I definitely reccomend this one as a decorative polish as its easy to apply.
5: Vintage Violet
This is the colour I am wearing on my fingernails right now, it's a cold shade. I think it's very chic and goes well with many outfits. Again like all BarryM nail polishes it's easy to apply. The brush is thin and I like that as then you can be a lot more neater. I feel with this colour it is versitile, it can be worn in the winter and the summer.
6: Chai
Save the best till last. This is most definitely my favourite. I absolutely love the charcole grey colour and I get so many compliments whenever I wear it. I have a grey addiction and I love everything grey so when I discovered this colour, I needed it. I feel this shade is very tumblr and chic. This colour definitely works very well with pale skin tones. It's also cool to put a matte topcoat on to make it a bit more edgier.
I hope you liked this blog post. I hope you now have seen a wider range of BarryM nail polishes. What's your favourite BarryM shade ?!
Please share the pea pod love!
Thank you !!
