Seeing Coldplay Live In Concert

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

Hello everyone its Jade here and welcome back to our blog! How are you doing? It's such a nice day and I'm in such a great mood. I finished my GCSEs yesterday (20/6/16), it feels nice for the weight to be lifted off of my shoulders! I am a little bit sad to be leaving my friends behind but I will see them soon at prom and I will for sure keep in touch with them. Anyways lets talk about Coldplay, I've wanted to see them live for since I can remember. I love their music and chilled out vibe. So I was estatic to go see them live at Wembley Stadium in London.

When we arrived at Wembley we went to Nando's and had our dinner and it started thundering. So it wasn't that good of weather. I went to the merchandise store and I have to say it was very pricey. At concerts I normally pay about £20 for t-shirt but it was £30 at Coldplay and the tour program was £20. It was very expensive, but we still bought a t-shirt. We was in section A which was quite high up and not the best view of the stage however I did get a great view of how big the stadium was. My mum was on the laptop before 9 am when the tickets came out and the site crashed over 10 times and the only tickets we could get our hands on were these ones but at least we were going to see them!

When we got into the stadium and sat in our seats and took in the view it started raining !! Typical I've only ever been to two stadium concerts before and they have both been when it's raining. However we were still in high spirits. The two support acts came and entertained us for a few hours. They were Leanne La Havas and Alicia Cara. They were both pretty good.

When we entered the stadium we were given these wrist bands for free. No one really knew what they were meant to do. However when Coldplay came on stage, the wrist bands lit up to the colours of the stage and switched colours and flashed etc to the stage colours. They were such a nice touch they made the concert so magical. They must have been computer activated etc because they only flashed on certain songs.

This photo was taken during the song 'A Head Full Of Dreams'. This is what I meant by the stadium feeling so magical everyone was given a wrist band and it just lit up the whole stadium.

During the song ' Fix You' the wrist bands lit up a copper colour and it was just so magical. Coldplay were so amazing live. Chris Martin was so full of energy and was just running up and down the long stage. Jumping and even lying on the floor. The whole crowd were jumping and dancing with him.

Once the concert had finished we all headed for the underground station, as we left we were left with this amazing view. As you will know the Coldplay colours at the moment are the rainbow so it was beautiful that they lit up the semi circle thing the rainbow colours. It was an amazing concert and I would definitely recommend going to see them live. I really enjoyed myself. I really hope they tour again as I just want to see them live again.

Thanks for taking the time to read this blog post. Sorry the photos weren't the best but I was too busy having a good time. Have you ever been to see Coldplay live? If so which tour was it. What's your favourite Coldplay song ? Mines viva la vida or ink. Have a lovely day.
