Seeing Robbie Williams Live

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

Hi everyone it is Jade here! As you guys know I am a concert fanatic and I absolutely love going to see artists live in concert! So far this year I have seen 3 people live so this was my 4th concert this year. I'm not a massive Robbie Williams fan myself but my mum is! My mum hasn't missed a tour of Robbie Williams. I have heard a few of his songs and I love a good concert so I didn't mind accompanying my mum at the concert.

My photos aren't the best I can't say we had the best seats !!

The tour was the heavy entertainment show and the album cover is of Robbie Williams in a boxing ring. The screens on the stage were shaped of Robbie which was cool.

He sat in a giant boxing glove and it extended him high above the crowd on a crane. That was cool.

Robbie picked a woman out the crowd and sung 'I love you' which made it funny as they put a singing mask on the woman and when he passed the mic to her instead of her singing it, it was a funny voice. After that, he hugged her and had a mini chat with her. Not to mention a selfie!

Another guest was invited on the stage and it was his Dad! It was so cute they sung 'Sweet Caroline' together, it was clear that Robbie looks up to his dad.

Something that got me was when Robbie Williams did a speech about previous events that have gone on in the UK. Such as the Manchester bombing, and the two London attacks. In the Manchester One Love concert, Robbie changed his strong song but adapted it to Manchester and made it that we aren't gonna miss out on fun such as concerts because of terrorists. So he strong song and had the words up and everyone sang it to show that wasn't going to let that get to us.

After that, he sang his most famous song 'Angels' and dedicated it to all those who lost their lives in the recent terrorist attacks. Many in the crowd were in tears and remembered those who lost their lives.

Overall my time at the Queen Elizabeth park in Stratford London was great I actually enjoyed the Robbie Williams concert! Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post! I hope you have had a great day!

Birthday Trip To London

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

Hi everyone and welcome back to our blog, it's Jade here. So 2 weeks ago I celebrated my 17th birthday. I went to our beautiful capital city for 2 nights and 3 days. I really enjoyed my visit.

So when we arrived on Thursday we checked into our hotel room and headed straight down to oxford street where all the shops are. I specifically said I wanted to buy myself a pair of black denim dungarees. Well, I kid you not, I could not find a pair anywhere and every shop I asked either had no clue what I actually meant or they just stocked blue denim dungarees. So my mission for a pair of black denim dungarees was unsuccessful. We continued our shop and I did pick up a few pieces of clothing, but if I am honest I was not that impressed on the clothes out in the shops at the moment.

After the shopping trip, we went to Covent gardens to a beautiful pub and restaurant called Nags Head. It was up high and I was able to look out on all the shoppers and buskers. After many tube trips, we headed back to the hotel and got ready for the evening's events. My nan treated my Mum and me to go see Mama Mia in west end theaters. I can confirm it is amazing. I absolutely enjoyed it the singers and dancers were amazing and put on a fun filled show. After the show, we walked around Covent gardens and listened to some buskers and took in the beautiful city in the night time.

The next day was Friday and we prepared ourselves for the day with a scrumptious breakfast. I topped up my oyster card and off we went on the London Tube. We headed to Regent street and bought a few more pieces of clothes. I also went to Hamleys and purchased an overpriced soft toy. It was £30 for a Kola bear teddy, but worth it haha. We then went to Camden town. We visited the famous Camden market and there were some cute quirky stalls. I also tried bubble tea for the first time. It was amazing, I had strawberry flavour with passion fruit balls. I actually really liked it, I would definitely buy another one.  We then headed to Carnaby street where we stopped off for a drink at an Irish pub. We then did a bit of shopping and looked around liberties.

Sticking with posh shops we then went to Harrods and observed all the expensive items that I could only dream of owning. Outside Harrods was this posh Cafe. We decided to go in. The place was called Caffe Concerto in Knightsbridge. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake and a vanilla milkshake. URGHHH it was so tasty and lovely. Very rich in flavour. That evening we went to china town and ate so much Chinese food. It was good though. We then had a stroll to Leicester Square and we watched a few buskers.

Then Saturday we were ready to leave and caught the train home. I really enjoyed my stay in London and would like to thank my Mum and my Nan for taking me. My favorite part was seeing Mama Mia in the theatre. I would definitely recommend anyone who hasn't watched it go see it.

That's all for me I hope you enjoyed reading about my adventures in London. Sorry about the picture quality it was on my iPhone which is broken. So yeah. Hope you all have a great day. Thank you for reading our blog.

Seeing Coldplay Live In Concert

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

Hello everyone its Jade here and welcome back to our blog! How are you doing? It's such a nice day and I'm in such a great mood. I finished my GCSEs yesterday (20/6/16), it feels nice for the weight to be lifted off of my shoulders! I am a little bit sad to be leaving my friends behind but I will see them soon at prom and I will for sure keep in touch with them. Anyways lets talk about Coldplay, I've wanted to see them live for since I can remember. I love their music and chilled out vibe. So I was estatic to go see them live at Wembley Stadium in London.

When we arrived at Wembley we went to Nando's and had our dinner and it started thundering. So it wasn't that good of weather. I went to the merchandise store and I have to say it was very pricey. At concerts I normally pay about £20 for t-shirt but it was £30 at Coldplay and the tour program was £20. It was very expensive, but we still bought a t-shirt. We was in section A which was quite high up and not the best view of the stage however I did get a great view of how big the stadium was. My mum was on the laptop before 9 am when the tickets came out and the site crashed over 10 times and the only tickets we could get our hands on were these ones but at least we were going to see them!

When we got into the stadium and sat in our seats and took in the view it started raining !! Typical I've only ever been to two stadium concerts before and they have both been when it's raining. However we were still in high spirits. The two support acts came and entertained us for a few hours. They were Leanne La Havas and Alicia Cara. They were both pretty good.

When we entered the stadium we were given these wrist bands for free. No one really knew what they were meant to do. However when Coldplay came on stage, the wrist bands lit up to the colours of the stage and switched colours and flashed etc to the stage colours. They were such a nice touch they made the concert so magical. They must have been computer activated etc because they only flashed on certain songs.

This photo was taken during the song 'A Head Full Of Dreams'. This is what I meant by the stadium feeling so magical everyone was given a wrist band and it just lit up the whole stadium.

During the song ' Fix You' the wrist bands lit up a copper colour and it was just so magical. Coldplay were so amazing live. Chris Martin was so full of energy and was just running up and down the long stage. Jumping and even lying on the floor. The whole crowd were jumping and dancing with him.

Once the concert had finished we all headed for the underground station, as we left we were left with this amazing view. As you will know the Coldplay colours at the moment are the rainbow so it was beautiful that they lit up the semi circle thing the rainbow colours. It was an amazing concert and I would definitely recommend going to see them live. I really enjoyed myself. I really hope they tour again as I just want to see them live again.

Thanks for taking the time to read this blog post. Sorry the photos weren't the best but I was too busy having a good time. Have you ever been to see Coldplay live? If so which tour was it. What's your favourite Coldplay song ? Mines viva la vida or ink. Have a lovely day.

London Haul

Hello 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

Today's blog post will be from mwah (Jade). How you guys doing? Been a while! As you may or may not know a few weeks back I went to London. The same time at Stephanie but we did go separately. I stayed over for the weekend in a hotel because it was for my birthday and I just had a long shopping trip. I had such a lovely time and I purchased some lovely items. I hope you enjoy the blog post.

Firstly I only purchased 3 items of make up.
Mac Studio Fix in the shade NW13
Mac creme sheen shy girl
Benefit Roller Lash

I'm in love with the Mac studio fix. I've only ever tried a tester of that foundation and I loved it but sadly I don't have any Mac stores near me. So when I saw the store in Covent gardens I made it my mission to go inside and have a look. I then fell in love with the nude shade of 'Shy Girl'. Then I saw the mascara in Benefit and got it because I wanted to see what the hype was about.

I then went into the Disney store and OMG it's heaven in there and I literally was in my element. I just had to buy a few teddies to go towards my Disney teddy collection. As you can see I got a simba, Nala and a Dumbo.

I then went into HMV and got the James Bay album. All I can say is pure class. The vocal range on that man is just .... Wow!

I actually got these for my birthday from my mum but I got them in London so I can tell you guys about them. I'm sorry but these shoes are like the shoe version of Kim Kardashian. Urghhh they are so beautiful. They are the original vans. I saw these advertised all over London on posters and billboards and everytime I saw them I fell in love more. I just had to have them.

I then got this mini canvas that has this gorgeous quote from Pooh Bear. I got it in the jubilee market in Covent gardens. It's ironic because my family nickname is Bear for pooh bear so I just loved it. Then I got a new pair of EarPods from Apple. My others broke and I loved them so got a new pair.

I then went to Jack wills and purchased this lovely navy blue ' Wills' jumper. It's just a jersey material and it's extremely comfy. I've been told aswell it's slimming so that was a bonus.

I then purchased 3 pairs of black jeans. 2 just normal high waisted and 1 with rips. This pair was from Topshop and so was one of my other black jeans. The other pair of black jeans were from Miss Selfridge. These ripped ones are just so cute. Enough said.

I then got this summer jacket. This by far was my favourite purchase over the whole weekend. It's a duster jacket. I first saw it in a pop up Miss selfridge shop in Debenhams. I loved it so much and they didn't have it in my size. So then I went all over London looking for this jacket. I finally found it in Miss Selfridge in Oxford Street. Luckily they had it in my size and I grabbed it and got it. Literally whenever I wear it people always compliment me and ask me where I got it from. I love it.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and it has given you an idea in what is on the high street at least at the moment. I also did buy a crop top that was white and black striped with lace material at the bottom I would show you but it's currently in the wash ! I'm sure you will see it in another blog post!

A Day In London

Hello everyone 2 Peas In A Pod Blog here it's stephanie here and todays blog post is going to be about what I got up to in London! I had so much fun there! I went there to watch the boat race which takes place on the river themes and between Oxford and Cambridge. I thought it would be great to take a few pictures so I could write a blog post. Hope you enjoy it !

So the day started very early for me! I was up at 6.30 am to catch the train down to London and the first thing I did was find my favourite shop! Dior! I just love window shopping in there and dreaming of what I could wear. It was Very expensive so I couldn't spend any money in there! It's always nice just looking !!

After that I went to l'occitdne it was just lovely the smell was just sheer blossom and how could I not get my self some lip balm for £12 and soap for £15!! They both smell amazing so I just had to buy them! I'm sure you guys will see them in a favourites blog post soon 😏

Then as we was walking out that shop we walked down to this cafe in Covent gardens where we saw this classical band playing a classical versions of Katy perrys fireworks! Which was amazing and very different to the original! It's was really good and they were so talented, I love seeing people on the sides of the streets showing of their musical talents.

After walking for a while and having an amazing full english breakfast at another little cafe! Just near kings cross I came across my favourite chocolate shop! M & M world. Which the things they come up with is just amazing. Like you can spell out your own name. Amazing. Sadly everything was very expensive so I didn't spend anything in there which is a real shame!

Across the road from M&M world I came across this shop which 3kg of Nutella in a tub in the window! I didn't get to see the shops name and mum refused to buy it for me!! But how amazing is that whoever came up with this idea needs a medal.

One of my favourite parts of London is coming across the big signs! They are just like what you see in Times Square in New York. It always lets me know I'm in London! This is in Piccadilly square. I love the adverts on them they are so overly large and they move! How cool?

For ages now I've wanted a pair of timberlands. They are the most gorgeous pair of shoes in the world . So I made my mum go see them. Again I pestered her for her to buy me them. She didn't but I feel like I might have won her over for my birthday! Fingers Crossed !!

After that we went for afternoon tea at the RAF place, I had a finger sandwich and a twinings cup of tea. I honestly felt so British. It was such a great time to spend with the family.

So after the boat race we went to catch the train but just before we nipped In to Starbucks which I got  a chocolate frapè! Tasted so good!!! The cream was heavenly.

So after that I ended up home and in my warm bed. I had such a lovely day. I love London the capital of my country. Sadly I didn't bump into the queen but maybe next time. The day was jam packed and was fun. The awesome thing was the same time I was in London Jade was also there staying for the weekend. So look forward to an upcoming post from Jade.

So I hope you all enjoyed this post.
