Lydia's 5 Summer Must Haves

Hello, it's Lydia writing today's blog post. Like Jade's blog post last week I will also be doing my 5 summer must haves, this will include what I like to use/have in summer. I love summer time and love chilling in the sun and enjoying the hot weather.

My first Summer must have is wearing flower crowns, I love wearing them it makes me feel really summery, even when I see other people wearing them it still makes me feel summery. I think that they are one of the main things that make it summer.

My next Summer must have is sandles/flip flops, I love the fact of wearing them makes me feel summery... Again. To me they are a true sign of summer. I also love it when my nails have been painted and they are on show by wearing my sandles.

My 3rd summer must have is shorts, I love wearing shorts. Wearing them means I can get a tan on my legs. These are my favourite shorts I own. They go well with a plain tank top and my sandles.

My next summer must have is having my nails painted, I love having them painted. This colours I have on now in the picture are bright colours, it just adds a more edgier feel I think they are nice colours to wear in summer. I rarely have my nails not painted. I don't often have patterns or designs on my nails as I just like them as plain colours.

My last summer must have icecream, I love eating icecream especially when it's a hot day it cools me down. These are the icecreams Jade and I had when we went to Hunstanton in one of our previous blog posts, I just think that these icecreams looked so nice and tasted delicious I had to use the picture again.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog post and it has put you in a happy summary mood. In England right now we are having a mini heat wave and today we had the high of 36 degrees. So hot but I love just chilling in the garden and tanning. I had my shades and shorts on! I hope you are all having a lovely summer and thank you for reading our blog, we can't thank you enough !!

Jades 5 Summer Must Haves

Hello everyone its Jade here and today's blogpost will be all about summer, exciting isn't it? Even though Summer is great and everything I'm one of those boring people that prefer spring and autumn. However that still doesn't stop me from enjoying the summer time. In England (where I am) it's just become summer and we are starting to have beautiful weather here ( although as I write this its lashing rain outside). As we always do on this blog we always do our 5 must haves for the season. So here goes.

The first must have is Sun Cream. I know it's a boring must have but if you burn easily like me then you will know what pain you are in when your sunburnt. A good factor is a good idea. It also prevents skin cancer so at least put some on.

The next summer must have is sunglasses, not only do they keep the sun out of your eyes they make a cute accessory to a super cute outfit. Any type of sunglasses look great, at the moment vintage style ones are quite the fashion so maybe if your unsure try them types.

Water!!! This is a summer must have because in the summer you get hot a sweaty and you need to cool down. Water is an essential in the summer because you need to keep hydrated especially if your in the sun all day. If you don't like just plain water try mixing it up and putting fruit chunks inside it, it adds a fruity taste.

The next summer must have is a book. As you know recently I've been reading more. There is nothing that I love more than reading a book in your garden with a nice bowl of fresh fruit. It's such a relaxing thing to do. The book I am currently reading is ' Paper Towns' by John Green. With what I have read so far the book is really good. It's a book that I can't put down. I recommend it.

My last but not least summer must have is music. Now I might be a bit bias because there isn't a day that doesn't go by that I don't stick my earphones in and listen to my music. I sleep with my music on and as soon as I wake up I have music on. So for me really any season is a music must have. However there is certain music genres that fit well for seasons. In summer I like to listen to up beat jolly songs as it goes with my summery mood. Although I sometimes like to just relax in the sun and that's when I turn to my calm and peaceful music. Like Adele, I am obsessed with her music right now I like it. Homeglory is my favourite by far.
