Jade's Top 6 High End Makeup Products

Jade here and today's blog post will be about my top 6 high end make up products. I would just like to point out that I don't just have high end products, I love a good drugstore lipstick or mascara. If you prefer drugstore make up I'm sure we can arrange a top 6 drugstore products blog post in the future. However let's focus on the high end products for this blog post. I hope I have picked a variety of brands and products but I have to admit if I like a certain brand I tend to go back for more products. 

So my first favourite is my beloved naked pallet. I've only had this for about 2 months now but I got it for Christmas from Lydia. Ever since then I can't stop using it. I love to mix a few shades together. What I like to do is use 'Side Car' on my whole eye lid. Then I use 'Smog' on my outer corner on of my lid then 'Half Baked' in the middle and blend all 3 shades in. The eye shadows last a long time and are really pigmented. The pallet is quite expensive but the eye shadow shades are worth the money. 

My next high end favourite is the Benefit Roller Lash. This is the best mascara ever. It lengthens your lashes and it applies very nicely that there is no clumps and the lashes are all spread out. It's also easy to get off if you miss your eye lash. It also lasts a long time because you don't need to re-apply anymore coats throughout the day.

This favourite is a foundation. As you all know I love my M.A.C  studio fix however I sometimes like to alternate to a lighter foundation when my skin is clearer. So I really like the Estée Lauder double wear light. It's easy to apply to the skin. My only downfall is because it's a smaller tube you tend to use a lot more and with it being £30.00 it's a lot of money to be using too much. However it's good coverage and stays put throughout the day.

My next favourite is my Chanel blusher, I absolutely love this product and it's such good quality. It's in the shade 'Rose Initial' and it's so pigmented and I have pale skin so I got a pale shade because my red cheeks come out naturally so it was only to make it sweeter. However with this product the more you apply the darker the colour comes and it lasts such a long time. Also it smells just like strawberries. Definitely worth the money. 

As you can see I have 2 lipstick's. Truthfully I narrowed my collection to two lipsticks and that's the smallest amount I could go. So my first favourite high end lipstick is by YSL and it's a nude colour. It's a pinky nude, this is a glossy type and really moisturises your lips, it also tastes really nice even though you shouldn't be eating it. This isn't that long lasting but it's a beautiful shade so you can forgive the product. I also really like the packaging, I think it's really classy.

My last high end favourite is my beloved M.A.C Velvet Teddy. If you have been reading our blog for a while you will know how much I love this lipstick. It's my go to shade and I love how long it lasts. I only have to apply this once during the evening. It's a matte shade and that's my favourite type of lipstick. This lipstick isn't that expensive it's only £15, for the quality you get that's an amazing price. This will be a product that I will always re-purchase.
