Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog. It's Jade here and I hope you have had a gorgeous day. Today I am going to be talking about My favourites in May. May has been a packed month for me and I'm sure June will be too. This month I started my GCSE's hopefully all my hard work will have paid off. June will continue to be packed but I also get to see the end of my exams on the 20th. Anyways lets get on with the blog post.
My first favourite is the Emma Hardie amazing face moringa cleansing balm. I purchased this in York. I absolutely love it. I feel like my skin has improved so much after using it and my skin feels so clean. Before this product I'd have never used a cleansing balm before but this product is great, you can definitely see the differences in your skin when you use it. It's great at taking make up off too. The only downfall is the muslin cloth it comes with is white and all I can say is it's stained orange and black from my make up. So I just use a normal face cloth from next instead. I definitely recommend this product it is a little on the pricey side, it's £38 for 100ml but a little goes a long way. I use a pea sized amount every day and it's lasted me for ages and is still going strong.
My next favourite is my Ted Baker sunglasses. I purchased these for myself out of my birthday money and I love them. Majority of my friends were shocked I paid a lot of money for sunglasses when I normally sit on them or loose them. However they are so cute how could I not? As its been sunny recently in England I have been able to use them and they do a good job of keep the sun out of my eyes. So I love them. I've also always wanted a nice pair of sun glasses so I thought I'd just treat my self.
My next favourite is the sanctuary spa thermal detox clay mask. It's a thick clay mask that is grey. All you need to do is apply it to your face and almost straight away its warming up your face. It says to leave it on for 5 minutes but I leave it on for a good 10 minutes. After that I use a muslin cloth to remove it off my face. It leaves my skin feeling clean and super soft. I definitely recommend this product, it's an affordable price of £9.99 and it lasts a long time. I tend to use it twice a week and I've had it since March. I think this is a good dupe to the origins clay mask. It's also great for a stressful day and it helps you unwind.
This is a bit of a random favourite but I've been really enjoying smoothies, especially in the morning. Sometimes when I eat in the morning it makes me feel sick so I've recently been making a fruit smoothie. My favourite is bananas, strawberry, kiwi and raspberries. A weird combination but it's so refreshing and gives you a health kick in the morning.
The last favourite is the real techniques blush brush. Recently I've been applying more blusher than usual and I really like that rosy cheek effect. I think the blush brush is perfect for applying it onto your face, it covers all the areas on your cheek bones. It's also super soft and I quite like holding a chunky brush. It's easy to clean and get the excess blush off. I am a fan of the real techniques make up brush range, as you all know I like to rave about them. I think they are such good value for money. They are such good affordable prices and do a great job. Also most of all the bristles don't fall out which is a bonus!!
So that's all from me, I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post and if you try any of these items out or you share the love for one of these products then let us know !! I hope you're having a great day and don't forget shoot for the moon because even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars 🌟. Be Happy.
