5 Seconds Of Summer Concert

Hello, today's blog post is about our experience at the 5 Seconds Of Summer concert last night (12/4/2016) in Nottingham. As you all know we normally upload on a Tuesday evening but because we were at the concert we wanted our next post to be about last night, so it's going up today instead.

Anyway, Jade had been to see 5 Seconds Of Summer last year with her sister and Lydia had seen them when they were with One Direction in 2014. So when we had the chance to get tickets and we jumped at the chance as we really wanted to see them, we were lucky enough to get tickets and very good tickets at that, we got really good seats we were 14 rows from the front! Sorry if the quality is really bad in the pictures but we were very busy jumping and dancing around, so they're a bit blurry.

This picture is of the starting act was Jessarae from America, we had never heard of him before but he was actually really good.

The next picture is of 5SOS near the beginning of the show, when they started... Ass soon as they got on the stage they made the whole crowd stand I their feet and make a brilliant atmosphere.

The next picture is of again 5SOS, singing another one of their songs.

This picture is also 5SOS.

The last picture is of Luke from 5SOS, I had pictures of the others on their own but this was the best on.

Getting Ready For A Concert

Hello today's blog post is from Lydia, by the title I'm sure you can tell what this post will be about, but it  will be about how to get ready for a concert. A week today Jade and I will be going to a 5 Seconds Of Summer concert, we are both really excited, as we love the band. So we thought we would give your some tips on how to prepare yourself for a concert.

The first thing you have to do is obviously get the tickets, we got the tickets ages ago but they only came in the post last week. If the seats are how they're shown on google then we have pretty good seats, which means Jade will be able to get a better view at staring at Calum. You definitely need to remember the tickets the day of the show else you will be stuck.

The next thing you need to do is learn all the songs, it's always handy to know all the songs otherwise there will be a lot of fan girls glaring at you because you don't know the words!! If you have the albums then you can listen to them over and over again, or you can buy the albums on iTunes (if the iTunes account isn't yours and is a parent/guardian then get their permission to buy them) or a way that is free is by Spotify, you can get all the songs on there and it's free to listen to! You will enjoy the concert much more if you can sing along with the crowd, the atmosphere is so much better.

Another way to get ready for a concert is to do your make-up, these are just a few products that I will be wearing when we go to see them next week, majority of the products have been in some of my other blog posts, but I swear by them and use them most. Make sure you powder more than you would as the arena gets very hot and sweaty.

The next way to get ready for a concert is your outfit. It's always nice to wear the Merch t-shirt of the band, as were going to go to a 5SOS concert we will be wearing a 5SOS t-shirt, you can match the shirt with skinny jeans a jacket and accessories to finish the look off. A tip is to wear something comfortable as you will be standing for a while.

The next thing you need to do is decide on what Merch you are planning on buying there, it's always best to plan this because it will be very busy at the concert and you don't want to be holding people up in the que because you haven't decided what you want yet! The last thing you need to do is to arrange for someone to take you, hopefully you would have done this when you got the tickets but you have to make all the arrangements like what time, where from, things like that and also the picking up point once the concert has ended so you don't get lost in all the crowds.
