Festive Weekend With Jade

Hello everyone! How is your day going? Today's blog post is by Lydia, and this will be about Jade and I's festive weekend. Every year we have a sleepover and spend a weekend before Christmas together, we also go shopping together to get Christmas presents and also get matching pyjamas which we wear when we have the sleepover. We also do festive baking at our sleepovers listening to Christmas music full blast!

We normally do our Christmas shopping on a Saturday and then I stay round Jades till Sunday but this year we went shopping on a Thursday as we both had days off of college and we didn't want all the rush on a Saturday. So, as we did our shopping before we had all Saturday to do some festive baking. We made gingerbread cupcakes, there will be a blog post on them coming very soon! They were lovely and made the kitchen smell like gingerbread!

We also made a cake and gingerbread men for Sunday. (Picture above)

After we spent most of the day baking we had to do some work for an assignment Jades working on in college, which took us ages as I couldn't get it right! Then we got changed into our matching Christmas pyjamas, we had a small dilemma with them but we're getting it sorted! We then had our annual picture taken in front of the Christmas tree in our pyjamas.

For the rest of the evening we watched The XFactor as Louis Tomlinson was on, we also cried when he came on and after his performance. We had a really nice evening just watching TV and chatting. On Sunday we didn't do too much, we finished off the baking and ate cake with Jades family and friends.

We had a really nice weekend, and did a lot of baking! Thank you all for reading this blog post! I hope you enjoyed it. Did you all have a good weekend? Ingredients For The Perfect Sleepover

Hello 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here!

We both love having sleepovers, whether it is at Lydia's house or Jades we will make sure we have a good time. All the sleepovers we have had together we have made new memories and more new inside jokes! Here are the best things to have to create the perfect sleepover!

The first thing you will need is facemasks, at most sleepovers we will have facemasks, not only do they help your skin, you can also listen to relaxing music ( Ed sheeran) whilst talking to each other! One time we were round Jades and we both had facemasks on listening to spa music with cucumber patches on our eyes. This is just a tube full of facemask, you can obviously use it more than once! After using this your skin will feel very soft!

The next thing is a movie,you have to have a movie to watch at a sleepover! This is one of our favourite movies, we have watched this many times at sleepovers, we both love this film. We went to watch the second one in the cinema the day it came out! This is our favourite from 1 and 2! At a sleepover it's normally best to watch a comedy otherwise you will be crying in each others shoulder late at night like we did after watching Marley and Me..... We used a whole lol roll.

The next thing we think to make the perfect sleepover is sweets, these are our favourite sweets, which now feature in all, of our sleepovers! They are full of chewy goodness, there is never a sleepover we have without these, they are a must have!

The last one is a favourite and its comfy pyjamas, whether that may be onzies or matching pyjamas! Either way it has to be paired up with some cozy slippers! So then you can all be warm and snug whilst  in your make shift bed in the lounge or whatever. 

Here's a picture if us a couple of years ago modelling facemasks, this was one of the funniest sleepovers as we were messing about and having laugh the whole time!
