What Jade Got For Her 18th Birthday

Hello, everyone, it's Jade here, wow I am finally 18. I had such a good birthday, I felt it went too quick! I would like to thank everyone for my gorgeous presents I am so grateful for them. I am doing this blog post to let you guys know a selection of gifts that I got for my birthday. I am in no way bragging about what I got. It is mainly so I can look upon this in years to come!

The first thing I got for my birthday was this Mickey Mouse teddy which is in the birthday edition. As you will know I am a Disney teddy collector, so to open this on my birthday was magical. It has my birthday and name imprinted on his feet and when you click the candle it plays a birthday tune. I love this present it was from my Mum.

The next gift was kindly from Lydia which was the new Ariana Grande perfume. I think this smells absolutely divine.  I loved her first one but this one has just topped it. The only way I can describe it is sweet but capped. Like it begins of smelling sweet but is capped off by a calm vanilla scent. Plus the bottle is gorgeous so thank you, Lydia.

The next gift was from my Dogs which was Tiffany and Co earrings. A bit much from my dogs I know but let's be honest it was my mum who got them haha! I have wanted something Tiffany and Co for years now and I've been saving up for a necklace from there for ages now so the earrings were gorgeous.

To match the earrings my mum bought me the necklace I had been saving for and even sent it away to be engraved with my initials on the other heart. So, I love this so so much. Thank You, Mum.

The next thing was alcohol, like because I had a birthday party quite a few were invited, so the main present I got was alcohol. I received 8 bottles of Malibu, 7 bottles of Champagne/Prosecco and two bottles of Baileys alongside a few minis. These below were cocktail mini's in cute glasses, so I had to take a picture of these! I am very grateful for my alcohol, looks like the summer party is on me!

The next thing I received was this amazing Lush gift set from my Auntie, Uncle, and cousins! I think my family and friends knew I like Lush. This is because alongside this giftset I also received another 18 bath bombs from Lush! So thank you so much! This gift set has so many products that I have never used before, I am super excited to try them all out!

My last but certainly not least gift I would like to talk to you about is this sketchbook from Lydia. Lydia knows my favourite kind of gifts are the personal ones and this was honestly one of the best presents I have ever received. It is a cute sketchbook that Lydia created talking about some of our best memories we've ever had! Lydia even left a note saying for me to carry it on. Which I definitely intend to do! Thank You, Lydia.

Mothers Day Gift Ideas

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

With mothers day just around the corner, I (Jade) decided it would be great to list a few things that I recommend buying your mum. I consider my mum as one of my best friends and if I had the money I would definitely be buying Robbie Williams for the day! However, I am a student on a budget so these gifts are all within a reasonable price.

My first gift idea is the good old classic, candle. Yep, that is right when in doubt buy your mum a candle. My mum loves burning candles in the living room so I know this present will be loved by my mum. So, my mum is a lover of winter scents like myself so I picked her up a Yankee Candle sparkling cinnamon, it smells divine!

Speaking of smells my next mothers day gift idea is a perfume. I have to say my mum is a hoarder of perfumes and buys quite a few. So, this idea is quite tough to find one that she doesn't actually have. That is why I played it safe and picked up her favourite perfume of Emporio Armarni Diamonds- Violet.

This gift idea is a classic and I assume 70% of mothers will receive a bouquet of flowers on mothers day. My mum loves to receive flowers so this would definitely be a hit!

My final gift idea is something that caters to the book worms out there. My mum ADORES reading and forever has a book in her hands. So, I thought it'd be great to treat her to a new book to add to her collection.

Last Minute Valentine's Gifts

Hello, It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here!

Hello everybody, welcome back to our blog. It's Lydia here! How are you? As you all know Valentine's day is tomorrow, and this blog post is about last minute gifts you can get your loved one for Valentine's day. All the shops have got all their Valentine's day gifts out, there are plenty of places to get your loved one the perfect gift!

The first of our last minute gift guide is flowers. For me, you can never go wrong with flowers, they are a cute way of showing someone that you care. Although they sometimes don't last that long, they are beautiful and liven up the room! If your partner doesn't like flowers we have plenty more ideas of what to get them!

The next on our list of last minute valentines day is chocolates. This is a really good little added gift, it can just show someone that you thought of them. Personally, I love chocolate, so it's always lovely to get chocolate, at anytime not just Valentine's day.

The third last minute Valentine's day gift is bath sets. Bath sets are a great gift to get, especially if your loved one loves having relaxing baths. Plus you can get them from most places. They are a great way for your partner to relax.

The fourth gift on our list is a gift card. A gift card for your partner for their favourite store is a great gift to get, especially if you are a bit unsure of what to get someone. A gift card is good as the person you got it for can choose and buy what they want.

My fifth and final last minute gift for Valentine's on this list is candles. This also goes with with the bath set, as candles make the bath so much more chilled. It's also a great valentines gift for a candle lover!

Last Minute Christmas Gifts

Hello 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here!

Hello, it's Lydia writing today's post. As you all know we are writing a blog post everyday until Christmas, as it is only 3 days until Christmas I thought that it would be good to do a last minute Christmas gift ideas blog post. I leave everything to the last minute, I don't plan anything at all. So I guess this is a good idea of mine. Here are some good last minute gifts to get people.

A good gift to get people is gift sets of body wash, shower gel, spray etc you can get these from nearly anywhere, they are good because they are an easy thing to get people, and they don't cost too much. I often get people these as I realise that there is only 4 days until Christmas and realise I haven't got a present for someone. These are from Boots, they always have good sets that people would want and at affordable prices. 

Another good thing to get is chocolate, you can't go wrong with chocolate unless the person has an allergy to the chocolate (nuts) even though in the picture they do have nuts, so just be careful when you select the ones you will give. I always get my brother a box of black magic, I do sort of plan that as I know it's his favourite. Everybody loves chocolate so it's always a good idea.

The last gift idea that I have is a CD, if you give the right CD to someone then they will love it, you have to know what kind of music they will like, but if you know that then your sorted and you have a great Christmas gift for them! Just make sure they are not already getting it from someone else !!

Lydia's Birthday

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here!

Hello, it's Lydia writing this blog post we haven't posted a blog post in a little while, but we are going to get blog posts up every week!

Today's blog post is about what I got for my birthday. I got a few things for my birthday as I got a main present which Is an iPhone. So, here is what I got for my birthday.

The first thing I got was the Marcus Butler book 'Hello Life' I wanted this book since it came out but spent the money I had before my birthday so I didn't have enough money to buy it, so my dad was kind enough to buy it for me, I have started reading it and so far I am liking the book, it is mainly on things about how to change your life for the better i.e. like what healthy foods to eat to get a better diet, it also has different delicious smoothie ideas to make to help you get healthier. It also includes easy, quick and simple exercises to do. I love this book, I would recommend getting it if you haven't already got it!

The next thing I got was a book on different layered cakes to make, I like baking cakes, so my mum who bought it for me got me this book as it shows a lot of different layered cakes to make, I haven't made one of them yet as I have to buy the right colour food colouring. They are mainly different types of layered cakes that use colours that are in the rainbow like: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.

The next thing I got was some hair curlers, before I got these for my birthday I had other ones that didn't curl my hair at all, so for ages I have been asking for them for either my birthday or for Christmas, I hadn't got them until this birthday. I have used them on my hair and they work well, they actually curl my hair! I would recommend getting them as they are good. They are the babalis ones.

 

I also got 28 sharpies from my mum, I love using sharpies on my wall I have decorated one part of the wall with a tree, a bird and some butterflies all out if sharpies, I loved the fact of putting something nice on a wall, my other walls just have different quotes on them, also written by sharpies, however I only had 12 Shapies so my mum bought me more and lots of different colours.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, I had a really good birthday, my family and I went to the beach and had a nice day, I got a lot of lovely presents from people, I love all that I got and enjoyed the day! Jade got me 2 gorgeous nail polishes and the Zoella shower wash from her new tutti fruity rantge. I didn't include them because you might see them featuring in a favourites blog post.
