Hello, everyone! Welcome back to our blog. We hope you're having a great day! Today's blog post is by Lydia, and it is about what I got for my birthday. As some of you may know, last Tuesday (8th August) was my birthday, I finally turned 17! I can now drive!! I had my first driving lesson on my birthday, which was fun. I got on quite well, to be honest. I enjoyed it, but roundabouts are hard-haha! I got so many lovely gifts for my birthday. So I thought I would share a few with you guys.

Valentines Gift Ideas

Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog, It's Jade here. Wow, 1 more day left of January and then we are in February. Which means 14 days until valentines day. So if you are reading this blog post and you have no idea what to get your loved one, you have come to the right place. We have done this blog post throughout the years but each time we come up with new gift ideas, so without further ado, let's get on with the blog post. All Photos are my own.

So first gift idea is Lush products. This gift idea is probably more aimed towards women but I guess you could get your boyfriend these products too. Now I haven't actually had time to go to Lush yet and have a look at their Valentines range. It normally stays the same each year but I have had a browse online and they have brought back the unicorn horn bubble bar. I had this last year and it's amazing. It smells divine I definitely recommend that one. I think I will be doing a Lush order sometime soon as I really want to try the 'Cupid' bath bomb. So Lush is always a winner when it comes down to valentines gifts.

My next gift idea is an activity to do on valentines day. If the weather is on your side it would be lovely to go on a walk. Cheesy I know but you could go to a place that holds lovely memories or go somewhere where you want to create new memories. I personally would love to go for a walk on Hunstanton beach then go for a meal, it doesn't have to be an expensive meal just a cute little meal. I am a very sentimental person and I would love for someone to do this for me. Another great location idea is walking in the woods, seeing all the cute bare trees. It's an inexpensive way of creating memories and it gets you out the house on Valentine's day, that's if you are not already booked in to see the new Fifty Shades Of Grey movie in the cinema.

This gift idea is again an inexpensive way of making your partner smile. You need to start off with buying flowers that is a great way to start of the evening, light some tealight candles around the house and cook your partner a 3-course meal. You can conversate over your lovely cooked food and you are in the comfort of your own home. Then after your dinner, you can relax on the sofa and crack open a bottle of bubbly and watch a sweet chick flick.

My last valentines gift idea is to create a scrapbook. I think I have mentioned this before in a valentines gift idea blog posts. This is a great way to put your DIY skills to the test. Print off some of your favourite photos of you and your partner and put them in the scrapbook you can use old bits of ribbon and cinema tickets that you have seen together to create a nice layout on the page. It might take a bit of work but in the long run, it will make your partners day and I am sure they will cherish it forever.

Well, that is the end of my Valentines gift idea blog post. I hope I have given you some great ideas on how to spoil your loved one on valentines day. Make sure you show them how much you love and appreciate them. Just remember valentines day is not all about gifts and whatever you buy them it doesn't have to be super expensive. As long as you show them you love them, that's all that matters.

What Lydia Got For Her Birthday

Hello everyone, today's blog post is by Lydia and as you can see from the title it's what I got for my 16th birthday. My birthday was yesterday ( 8.8.16) and although I got a lot of money I also got a lot of lovely presents. I had a really nice birthday, I spent the day at my close family and friends house with my mum, dad and brother and we walked their dogs and went to the beach in the evening. Very relaxed.

As I was away from home the first presents I opened was from the family friends, I was staying with. They got me this cute pen which says 'Someone Special' on it and the necklace that has my name on it, I used to have one of the necklaces but I lost it years ago. They also gave me £35 to spend on whatever I wanted. So that was really nice of them.

When I got home I was able to open all my presents that were delivered whilst I was away for the weekend. The first presents I opened were from my mum and dad. I also go an early birthday present which was £60 getting 3 piercings!  I got 2 DVDs, one is Mad Max Fury Road, I've seen the film before but I really liked it so wanted it on DVD, the next DVD is called Spy, I've never seen this film but it has Melissa McCarthy who was in another film I liked. I also got a grey backpack as all of my other ones are falling apart so I have a new one which will hopefully last longer! I also got the phone case, which I love because it has a load of cute cats on.

Then I opened a parcel that was from my auntie and cousin, they had got me a candle that is white pepper and amber scented, it smells really nice. They also got me a note pad which has a design of green leaves on, this notepad will come in very handy in the future! The last present they got me was a 'Pamper Bag' which had a body wash, a body butter and hand cream inside, they all smell really nice!

My dad got me a seperate present from just him. He got me a Pullman carriage. My dad used to work on the railways, he used to work with Pullmans which are basically really old, expensive carriages to ride in and are very special to ride on. There is a Pullman carriage called Lydia, which is the same as my name so he got me that for my 16th birthday. I've always wanted one but I knew they were going to be a lot of money. I went off the idea of having one as it was going to be really hard to get and be very very expensive, I really wasn't expecting it but I love it! So if your names Lydia or you know someone called Lydia there is also a very expensive, old Pullman carriage with the same name!

That was all the things to unwrap, but I also got a lot of money. My brother gave me £100 as he said he didn't know what to get me but I wasn't expecting that much, which was very kind of him. My uncle gave me £20, which was kind of him. My mums friend gave me £20 in a card. And my Grandma gave me £1005.77 exactly! The reason it's so much because she saves up money so she can give all her grandchildren £1000 for their 16th birthday, the £5.77 was interest or something, but all of us have had £1000 for our 16th birthday. I will spend all of the money I was given wisely and try not to waste too much of it on just stuff!

I had a really nice birthday yesterday and I got spoiled a lot! I wasn't expecting how much I got and how much money was spent on me but I love all my presents! Last Minute Christmas Gifts

Hello, it's Lydia writing today's post. As you all know we are writing a blog post everyday until Christmas, as it is only 3 days until Christmas I thought that it would be good to do a last minute Christmas gift ideas blog post. I leave everything to the last minute, I don't plan anything at all. So I guess this is a good idea of mine. Here are some good last minute gifts to get people.

A good gift to get people is gift sets of body wash, shower gel, spray etc you can get these from nearly anywhere, they are good because they are an easy thing to get people, and they don't cost too much. I often get people these as I realise that there is only 4 days until Christmas and realise I haven't got a present for someone. These are from Boots, they always have good sets that people would want and at affordable prices. 

Another good thing to get is chocolate, you can't go wrong with chocolate unless the person has an allergy to the chocolate (nuts) even though in the picture they do have nuts, so just be careful when you select the ones you will give. I always get my brother a box of black magic, I do sort of plan that as I know it's his favourite. Everybody loves chocolate so it's always a good idea.

The last gift idea that I have is a CD, if you give the right CD to someone then they will love it, you have to know what kind of music they will like, but if you know that then your sorted and you have a great Christmas gift for them! Just make sure they are not already getting it from someone else !!
