What's In Jade's Beach Bag

There is nothing like going to a gorgeous beach on a hot summers day! Well, I can't say it's all white sand and deep blue sea here in England... but we do have good fish and chips. So, I guess it has its pros and cons! Anyway, as we have been blessed with a glorious summer this year, I have found myself going to the beach more often! So, I thought it would be a great idea to share what is in my beach bag.

Firstly, my beach bag is this really cute deep blue Ted Baker bag. My mum bought me this with the matching flip-flops. I love this bag and I love the fact it is waterproof because its that plastic material that makes it easy to brush off the sand and water.  I would recommend this bag.

The next thing in my beach bag is something that takes up most of the room. It is my beach towel. Can we appreciate the pug? I have to admit to getting this picture was not easy! It is essential you bring a towel because then you can wipe off the sand!

Suncream is a must have in anyone's beach bag, especially mine. I burn so easily so I always have to lather myself in suncream. I usually use factor 50 but as you can see this is a factor 15. It's because it is my mums and mine had run out! Bring suncream!!

A book is something that is always in my beach bag because it gives me something to do on the beach. I love the sound of crashing waves whilst I get lost in a cracking book. In my beach bag this time I brought 'Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine' I loved this book so much. On first impressions, I found it a slow starter and struggled but about halfway through I could not put it down. Highly recommend this book.

The final thing I always bring in my beach bag is a bottle of water. It is essential to keep yourself hydrated when it is boiling hot outside. So, I always pack one in my beach bag so I can have a drink on the beach to cool myself down.

A Trip To The Beach

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here!

Hello, today it's Lydia writing this blog post and by the title you can probably tell what the blog post is about its all about a day out that I've recently had. I have family friends that live near the beach in Great Yarmouth  and when I stay down there we go for days out, we normally go to the beach to walk along the beach with a dog and have something to eat and drink in the cafe, I love days when we go out as the scenery is very nice near where they live and I get to fully relax. 

We always try to go to the beach when it is nice and sunny and not much wind, as it's been winter here so it's been a bit difficult to get a good day, but at least it doesn't rain! 

As the family friends have only recently moved to near the beach this was from the second time that I visited them and this is a picture of Nikita. This was a treat for Nikita to go to the beach as she doesn't travel very well and the other 5 dogs beat her to the door. Nikita was allowed to go to the beach because unfortunately she was bitten and had stitches in and before this she had her stitches taken out, so it was a nice treat for her. The weather was lovely, sunny and not much wind, it was so nice to see her enjoying herself on the beach.

This was one of the walks we went on with Nikita along the cliffs and then on the beach, she really enjoyed it and it was nice to go for a long walk.

This is another beach that isn't far away from the other one, we went on a walk along the beach in February of this year and the weather was nicer that what you would expect and it was nice walking along the beach. I really enjoyed it as it was nice to breath in some clean fresh air. It's also a lot more fun with a dog, I feel like I can walk for miles when I have a dog.

A Day In The Life Of 2 Peas In A Pod Blog

Hello it's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog here,

It's Lydia here and today's blog post is about a day in the life of 2 peas in a pod blog, it will be showing you what we get up to in a day, Hunstanton version. For 5 days (Wednesday-Sunday) I spent time at Heacham at Jade's holiday house. On the Saturday Jade and I went for a walk up to Hunstanton along the sea front. We was having such a lovely time before we thought we should take some great photos and do a blog post. This is what we got up to.

We took a short walk from Heacham to Hunstanton, it was a 5-10 minute walk, we decided to walk as its only a short walk and we thought it would be a nice way to get there. As it was a beautiful day in England, better make the most of it.The picture is Jade looking out to the sea on our way there. The sun was shining and the sea was so far out.

When we got up to Hunstanton we looked around some of the shops, we didn't buy anything from the shops as we had purchased a few items a few days before (new blog post hint hint) however, we did stop of at Costa to have a drink. I had a raspberry and white chocolate cream cooler, it was delicious. Jade had a peach iced tea, which looked very nice I did has a sip and it tasted so refreshing.

Before we walked back to the holiday house we bought ourselves an icecream, they were one of the nicest icecreams I have ever had. Vanilla icecream with chocolate and multi-coloured sprinkles, with a chocolate flake... Perfection!  I mean who doesn't love a Mr whippy? We just had to have the sprinkles and flakes.

We made our way back to the house after our day at Hunstanton. I had a really fun day out, I enjoyed spending the day looking around shops and walking along the sea front. I had a great time with Jade and we mainly just fooled around and had a laugh.
