Bewitched Bubble Bar Lush Review

With Halloween lurking around the corner, it only seemed fair to purchase some spooky bath treats! One thing that caught my eye whilst I was browsing the selection in Lush the other day was, this cute cat! This bubble bar is limited edition and has been brought out for Halloween.

The first thing that drew me to this particular bubble bar was the cute design! I am such a sucker for an animal themed bath bomb or bubble bar! I then smelt it and oh my god! It smelt so good! The spicy woody scents were divine!

This is what the Lush website says "After a busy day whizzing around on a broomstick, run a bath, crumble this lucky little cat under the water and ground yourself with spicy olibanum. Let superstitions go and allow yourself to be spellbound by uplifting bergamot oil as your twitch your nose and breath in this familiar blackberry scent. Whether in this life or one of the other eight, you'd be a fool to let this pass you by!" - Which I could not agree more.

When it came to actually using it, I decided to use the whole bar at once! I mean why not? I usually sparingly use my bubble bars but I guess you could say I felt adventurous! The first thing that surprised me was it made the water go jet black. I really liked that, made it dark and mysterious. The amount of bubbles it produced was great as more bubbles the better.

Once in the water, it was sparkling with subtle glitter bits. I liked that. The bar made my skin moisturised and the bergamot oil was in use! I definitely would recommend this bubble bar to people. If I pass a Lush store again before they go, I will be buying another one! I would rate it a 9/10 !

Thank You,

Jade

Pumpkin Lush Review

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog, we hope your having a good day. So today's blog post is a lush bath bomb review. As you might already know Lush have brought out their Halloween and Christmas range out to their stores. Well we were super keen and went the day after the Halloween range had been brought out into the Lush stores. Unfortunately we were a week early for the Christmas range however keep your eyes peeled, we might be doing a Christmas shop very soon.

So as you can see this blog post is the review of the 'pumpkin' bath bomb. We did get the monster ball bath bomb as well oh and iccle baby bot. Without further ado lets get on with the review.

We was that early that 'Pumpkin' wasn't even registered onto the system yet so we couldn't get the writing on the sticky label, so for this one we will have to go with what the website says.

Serve yourself up a slab of sweet pumpkin pie, dripping in spice and sauciness - it's even more satisfying in bath bomb form. Sweet, comforting vanilla absolute and spicy cinammon evoke the rich, biscuity fragrance of home-baking and stacked desserts, ensuring that you feel toasty from top to toe. A soak with this pumpkin-shaped bomb is more satisfying than a belly full of pudding.

Firstly once you pop it into your warm bath it fizzes straight away letting bursts of orange dance into your water. It's very magical and it feels so cozy, and Halloweeny aswell. However we must say it doesn't smell much like pumpkin pie, very much more like oranges. Which don't get us wrong is a nice scent and it lasts very long on your skin but we was expecting a pumpkin scent. The pumpkin face was super cute and added a nice touch. We hadn't seen this bath bomb before so we think this might be a new addition.

This bath bomb would be great to use on the night of Halloween just before you go trick or treating or maybe a Halloween party. It would also make a nice gift as it very pleasing to look at and also it smells really nice. If you're expecting it to smell of oranges then it won't be a dissapointment. Not saying the bath bomb was a dissapointment because it wasn't it left the skin feeling soft and made it smell devine. It also lingered for a long time too. Just bare in mind it doesn't smell of pumpkin. The pictures on our blog don't give the bath bomb justice, it was a lot more pigmented and turned the bath water bright orange and held its colour for the whole duration of the bath.  We would recommend this bath product to anyone who is looking into trying some lush Halloween products as its not to in your face it's very subtle. Which is quite nice once in a while.

Thank you for thaking the time out of your day to read this blog post, we hope you have enjoyed it. Father Christmas Lush Review

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

Hello It's Jade here. I bet your wondering why are we posting on a Monday ? Well we decided on the spur of the moment that we would post a blog post everyday leading up to Christmas Day. It's only 4 days but we thought it would help pass the time away leading up to Christmas. So without further ado lets get on with the blog post!

Today's blog post will be based around lush. Our most viewed post is the 'shoot for the stars lush review' and we always get more requests to do another lush review. So I thought why not review Father Christmas.

Father Christmas is a Lush bathbomb that simply smells delicious. It reminds me a lot of snow fairy the shower gel lush bring out every Christmas time. I guess that's what drew me to the bathbomb in the first place. On the label it says ' a sweet-scented festive bomb to bring Santa's Christmas presence into your bath' So I have to admit that sounds a little creepy, however it states it's a lovely sweet scented bath bomb. On the lush website it says' Before making this, Father Christmas must have stopped at a sweet shop for stocking fillers because it smells like freshly spun candy floss. Soak away the hours in sweet, mouthwatering waters as the blushing red of Santa's cheeks fizz away to reveal a vivid, holly green centre. ' This description gives the whole surprise away. I was shocked to see the green in my bath when I popped it in! I was in awe at a bathbomb... A little weird.

The bathbomb filled my bathroom with a sweet indulging scent and it lingered in there for a few hours after my bath. Also the scent stayed on my skin for a long time and I was getting compliments that I smelt like heaven. The bathbomb left my skin feeling clean and fresh and I really liked that. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who loves sweet smelling scents as it can come quite overwhelming at some point. Obviously this bath bomb only comes out in stores around Christmas times so when you next see it make sure you bag yourself one maybe even a couple.

Thank you for reading the blog post. Come back tomorrow to read Lydias blog post!

Sheffield Haul

Hello It's 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

It's Jade here and as you know a few weeks back I went to Sheffield to see One Direction but also I went to Meadowhall during the daytime to do some shopping. Meadowhall has 280 shops, so you can imagine it's going to be a long haul blog post.

The first thing I bought was this adorable scalf. I saw it in the Hollister shop window and I really liked it. So I went in and got it and ever since that I can't stop wearing it. I love it so much.

I then went into lush. If you know me then you will know that I have never not been into a lush store and come out with the 'Comforter' bubble bar. I absolutely love it and it's my favourite lush product ever. So of course I got that. I then got the 'Blackberry Bath Bomb'. I accidentally picked this bath bomb up as I was meant to pick up the  'twighlight' bath bomb but accidentally kept this one, however when I put it in my bath it made my bathroom smell of sweet blackberries and it even had a surprise in the middle. I loved it and might even get it again. Then I got the 'Father Christmas' bath bomb and it smells just like snow fairy and it's so sweet. I haven't yet tried this in my bath but I've opened it up in my bedroom and it's made it smell sweet. So it has the smell factor!

I then went into the Disney store and I bought the Lotso bear from Toy Story 3 and his tummy smells of strawberries and I love it, that was the main reason as to why I got him. I then got Lady from lady and the tramp. These are to go towards my Disney collection. Yes I collect all things Disney.

I then went to Primark and picked up two jumpers. I just got a grey one and a mustard colour one. They are a soft material and were super cheap! £6 each. I really like the mustard one it's very autumnal.

I then got these 5 Seconds Of Summer socks. I don't know why. Maybe because I like them and I can wear them next year when I see them live (12th April)

I then got this green flannel shirt. I just got this because I wear flannel shirts where I work so I can never have enough of them! This is the long version, I've never had a long one I normally get the standard length but I accidentally picked up one of the long ones. I'm actually not sure if I like it yet.

I then got this black leather bag. I'm going to use this for when I go out. I usually have a brown shoulder bag but it irritates me so much when it constantly falls of my shoulder and I'm forever putting it back on. So I thought this would solve the problem.

I got these copper/rose gold fairy lights because they are so cute!! They are stars and the light it self is gold. These were £6 and they hang on my white Chester draws so they look cute.

I then got this mug and it's from the Gabriella range which is Velvetgh0st from YouTube. Gabby released a Primark homeware collection. The only downfall was the closest Primark that stocked the range was Sheffield. So the only time I got was this time and of course I'm 3 months late from when it was released and it was limited edition. The only thing they had left in the whole store was this mug so I got it. I did want the fleece throw.

The next item I got was a Yankee candle gift set! It was a tin box with 3 little Christmas scented candles. The first one was berry trifle, which is my favourite it's very sweet smelling and instantly reminds me of Christmas. The second one is sparkling snow and it is a subtle smell and is a good one for the candle lovers who prefer discrete scents. The third one was orange spice and I have that one lit in my bedroom now and it's a warm scent. Very nice, this is a great gift idea for candle lovers.

The last thing I brought was these 3 items from the Zoella beauty range. I already have the Guinea pig pencil case, the candle and the shower gel so I decided to buy some more items to go with my collection. I firstly got the lace collar purse and I think that's a great item to have in your handbag to put in loose earnings or bracelets. Then I got the lets spritz body mist and that is such a sweet and fresh scent I love it. Then I got the hand cream and it's the original scent and it's great for your handbag too.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog post. I did also buy a grey long coat however it's at my house and I haven't had time to take a photo of it, however I'm sure it will feature in another blog post. So keep your eyes out. Thank your for reading our blog it means so much to us!

Shoot For The Stars: Review

Hello 2 Peas In A Pod Blog Here,

Today's blog post will be a review of a Lush product. This bath bomb is called 'Shoot For The Stars' . On the label it says 'Paint the swirling colours of the night sky in your tub with this multicolored Bath Bomb. Drop it in your bath and watch as it shoots every which way, releasing multiple colors before leaving behind a blazing trail of silver luster.'

The bath bomb smelt of sweet drizzling honey. The whole bathroom was engnited with bursts of honey scents. Which also lingered on your skin after the bath.

It made the water throth up and had little stars that let out nourishment to the skin. Also inside,it was full of glitter and made the bath feel so cozy and warm. The bath bomb really resembles Van Goghs 'Starry Night'. Which is a good idea from Lush.

This product is one to recommend to anyone who loves Lush. The smell and the beuty it has to your bath is just awesome. Sadly this product only comes out around Christmas time so when it's time you need to get your hands on this bath bomb.
